The vocabulary of the Cretan dialect is very rich. It is characterized by its heavy pronunciation and the variation of the pronoun tis in tsis . For example, instead of saying tis kareklas , they say tsi kareklas or ran to tell her , is called glaka na tsi pis , a pronunciation which gives the feeling of heavy Cretan dialect.
